Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine is one of Sengen Jinja Shrine all over Japan and a starting point of Subashiri Trail.
Foundation of Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine is in 807 and main building was reconstructed in 1718.

The formal name is Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine, it was also called “Higashiguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine” and “Subashiri Sengen Jinja Shrine”.

Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine is registered as World Heritage as periferal assets of “Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration”.
